SPECIAL MISSION PROCESSOR

The Special Mission Processor is a third-generation, SOSA-compliant mission processor designed to support the evolving needs of the U.S. Air Force and U.S. Government.

As a critical component of the C-130J special mission architecture, it provides a cost-effective, scalable platform for integrating advanced mission applications, data processing, and video distribution capabilities.

Serves as the critical interface between the C-130J proprietary avionics systems and special mission applications on the AC-130J and MC-130J. It enables high-speed data capture, pass through, and display integration with advanced video processing

Designed for long-term growth and technology insertion, the Special Mission Processor enables future mission expansion while reducing lifecycle costs. Although originally developed for the C-130J, its open architecture and flexible design make it well-suited for a wide range of fixed-wing and rotary-wing aircraft applications supporting both U.S. and international customers.

Delivers unmatched reliability, flexibility, and performance.

Supports up to 16 independent 1080P video streams to any aircraft display — enabling “Any Video, Anywhere” functionality

The Arkham SMP enables seamless communication between mission systems and aircraft displays, supporting advanced “push-to-glass” video and data integration through Lockheed-developed front-end systems.
